Custom Virtual Meets

Want to get predicted results for your own ski meet?

A beta version of MN Nordic Metrics Virtual Meet system is now online. You can access the virtual meet web app through the menu bar or this link. You will have the authorize the app before it can run.

The Virtual Meet web app accesses an online database of skier ranks from my algorithm to give predicted meet results. You can use the options on the right to tell the system if you want men's results, women's results, team results, or individual results. (At least one of men/women and individual/team must be selected). You can also choose how many results to print off and how many skiers on each team score.

You can also define the teams participating in the meet through the "Meet" dropdown menu. Select "State" for the entire state, use one of the conference/section presets, or create your own custom meets. If you choose a custom meet, enter your teams into the box as a comma seperated list. For instance: "Highland,Central,Mound Westonka,Wayzata".

The system may have trouble reading your name for the team. If you put in South, Southwest will match as well. Use a "*" character at the start of a word to specify a direct match is needed. Don't put spaces in your list. If a team isn't included in the results, play around with the name--"St. Paul Academy and Summit School" vs "SPA", for instance.
